Karen Arreola for Thousand Oaks City Council
District 1 • Newbury Park
Karen Arreola is a longtime Newbury Park resident, biotechnology executive, adjunct lecturer, mother, and community advocate. She is running to give District 1 residents a stronger voice at City Hall and to bring thoughtful, independent, and fact-based leadership to the Thousand Oaks City Council.
PROTECT
Protect our neighborhoods, open spaces, parks, public safety, and quality of life.
PLAN
Plan responsibly for housing, traffic, water, infrastructure, wildfire safety, and the long-term effects of development.
Karen's Priorities
Karen believes residents deserve a councilmember who listens carefully, asks difficult questions, and puts the community ahead of special interests.
Although Karen will be elected from District 1, she will work for the benefit of everyone in Thousand Oaks.
PROSPER
Support local businesses, maintain sound city finances, and keep Thousand Oaks a community where families and businesses can thrive.
District 1
Thousand Oaks, District 1 includes much of Newbury Park. It is bounded by the 101 Freeway to the north and Ventu Park Road to the east.
